Our Projects
At Arguments for Africa, we see this platform not as an endpoint, but as a launchpad. Our essays, critiques, and data analyses are just the beginning. We believe in ideas that scale, frameworks that evolve, and discourse that leads to real-world impact.
Here’s a glimpse of the initiatives we’re actively developing—or hope to launch in the near future:
Pan-African Think Tank Initiative
A long-term goal to transform Arguments for Africa into a multidisciplinary think tank that:
- Produces original research and policy briefs
- Hosts thematic working groups across African countries
- Engages governments, civil society, and academia
- Trains the next generation of African policy thinkers

The African Data Observatory
A dedicated hub that curates, visualizes, and analyzes publicly available African data to:
Support journalists, researchers, and advocates with usable datasets
Counter misinformation with evidence
Translate raw statistics into accessible insights
Voices of Africa Series
A multimedia project to platform diverse African perspectives:
First-person “argument essays” from across the continent
Interviews with thinkers, farmers, artists, technologists, and elders
Short video essays and podcasts in local languages
